ABOUT ME

My husband and I have embarked on a unique (and potentially crazy!) adventure. We moved to a property in the middle of the desert with the tiniest shed of a house, and have begun the process of building a small homestead/farm from the ground up. This is not an easy or small endeavor, and the challenges seem to build each day. Will we succeed? Maybe. Maybe not.

But what a story this adventure will be!

I am a librarian in experience and educational training. I love books and I love learning! This month I have been reading "The Subtle Art of Not Give a F***" by Mark Manson. This book discusses how to determine what truly matters to you and to not care quite as deeply about the little and less important things. I am four chapters in, and I already feel as though this book is beneficial for my personal growth.
